We chose upcycled solid pinewood.

The Beginning
Ubyld was founded by Pradeep Nair, with the intent to rethink how interiors and furniture are made in India.
While working closely with materials and workshops, one reality became clear:
large quantities of usable solid wood were being discarded, replaced by cheaper alternatives that looked good initially but failed over time.
That’s where Ubyld began — not as a trend, but as a response.
A response to waste.
A response to poor material transparency.
A response to furniture that doesn’t age well in Indian homes.
